Immaculate Conception Shrine Council 4944 Raises $4,686 for St. Francis de Sales Roof Replacement Project

The District of Columbia State Council congratulates the members of Immaculate Conception Shrine Council 4944 on the successful completion of their Roof Replacement Project fundraiser, which raised $4,686 through ticket sales and generous donations from parishioners and supporters throughout the community.

The proceeds from the fundraiser were presented to Rev. Fr. Brian P. Sanderfoot, pastor of St. Francis de Sales Church, to support the parish's roof replacement project. While the council recognizes that the cost of the roof replacement will far exceed the amount raised, the fundraiser represents an important first step in helping maintain the future of St. Francis de Sales Church.

A Community-Wide Effort

The fundraiser received strong support from parishioners, community members, and fellow Knights from neighboring jurisdictions. The participation of individuals from outside the council's jurisdiction contributed significantly to the success of the event.

The council also acknowledged the generosity of St. Francis de Sales parishioners who made donations directly to the church. Those gifts will complement the funds raised through the Knights of Columbus fundraiser in support of the roof replacement project.
